Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information UEFN Stats (the "Service") collects, how we use it, and your rights. The Service is operated by an individual sole proprietor doing business as "UEFN Stats" ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — the email address you use to sign up and authenticate. Passwords are handled and stored by our authentication provider (Supabase); we never see them in plaintext.
• Billing information — if you subscribe to Pro, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and stores your payment details. We do not store your full card number. We retain a Stripe customer ID and subscription status so we know whether your account is on the Pro plan.
• Usage data — basic technical data such as pages requested, approximate request counts (for rate limiting), and, for the Pro AI-insights feature, a per-day count of insights generated.
• Watchlist — the island codes you choose to track, stored against your account.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

2. How we use it

• To provide and secure the Service and your account.
• To process subscriptions, billing, and renewals.
• To enforce plan limits, rate limits, and prevent abuse.
• To send transactional email (account confirmation, password reset, and billing-related messages). We do not send marketing email without consent.
• To operate the Pro AI-insights feature, which sends the relevant public island statistics (not your personal data) to our AI provider to generate an analysis.

3. Service providers (sub-processors)

We rely on the following third parties to run the Service. Each processes data only as needed to provide their function:

4. Game data

The island and creator statistics shown in the Service are derived from Epic Games' public Ecosystem API and are not personal information about you. They relate to publicly listed Fortnite Creative / UEFN content.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (such as light/dark theme). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep account and subscription data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations (for example, Stripe payment records).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know what we collect and to request deletion, and we do not sell personal information. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) may exercise their rights under that regime. To make a request, email support@uefnstats.com; we may need to verify your identity first.

8. Security

We use reputable providers and standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, row-level database security) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
